Sunday, May 10, 2009 is Lilac Sunday at the Arnold Arboretum. That day lilac-lovers from all across New England flock to the Arboretum to picnic, watch Morris dancing, and enjoy the remarkably beautiful lilac collection.The event takes place rain or shine, and the Arboretum is open (as usual) from dawn to dusk. Refreshments are available for purchase from 10 AM to 4 PM.
